Inspiring art and gifts are on display at Fog Run art gallery and the Riverstones Gallery offers books and interesting gifts for the adventuresome shopper. New to Burnstown is the Inspirations Gallery and the Neat Coffee shop with a tantalizing Pizza menu, large patio area, live music, beer and wine. Nature walks and adventure hikes are offered by a local artist and adventurer. Le Sasoons Spa offers a variety of body care services to soothe and vitalize you.

Shopping and perusing the art galleries in Burnstown and Calabogie are year ‘round pursuits that you can combine with the region’s popular winter activities – Downhill and cross country skiing, snow-boarding, snow-mobiling, ice fishing and ice-skating, and wood fires at the end of the day!
Calabogie Peaks is home to the largest, vertical drop in eastern Ontario. Bring your ski and boarding equipment or rent the gear you need at Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort. Qualified instructors offer group and individual lessons for kids of all ages! Parents...need something different to do for the kids? Be sure to check out the tube park and ice skating ring.
Plan to lodge at Chateau Chipmunk where an inviting wood fire awaits you in a custom stone fireplace. We offer accommodatons with plenty of room to park your vehicles and snowmobiles. The lake comes alive in the summer with boaters, water skiers, golfers, car club events, kayakers, fishing derbys and a variety of land and water competitions.
The Calabogie Lake area is a favorite destination with cyclists - both peddle and motor powered, car clubs, ATVers, hikers and our favorite - vacationers! The art galleries and collectibles shoppes are open almost daily. The local pizza parlor delivers absolutely delicious, thick pizzas and has an assortment of ice creams, confections, baked goods and beverages....great to enjoy with a movie rental!
Families with children...Storyland is just a 25 minute drive to a magical afternoon with your favorite storybook characters!
Calabogie Highlands offers 27 hole Golf Course, club house and restaurant. Calabogie Peaks offers a nine hole golf course, tennis, hiking and biking trails and a beach with paddleboats, games a child sized waterslide and a beachside cafe. It doesn't get any better.
If you desire an outing to see the countryside and visit boutique towns, an hour's drive gets you to the artistic town of Merrickville or the quaint tourist village of Perth. You will pass through a variety of small towns and hamlets with intriguing country stores, restaurants and shoppes to discover.
